MOLLY MORGAN SEMILLON SAUVIGNON BLANC 2005

Friday, May 16th, 2008

Hunter Valley, NSWA very unusual wine, because the 10% Sauvignon Blanc used in this wine is not an option that Hunter Valley makers often choose. The fragrant fresh grass and lemon bouquet leads into a spotless palate, the 10% Sauvignon Blanc simply adding flavour interest, but barely diverging from mainstream Semillon. The mouthfeel and modulation of the wine is simply great. Summer seafood now, or whiterocks veal in five to 10 years.
