ARCHERS PEACH SCHNAPPS (700ml)

Wednesday, May 21st, 2008

‘This drink comes in a beautiful frosted glass bottle , but the drink is clear and transparent. The aroma of fresh peaches is very distinctive and this will be the first thing that hits you. If you dont like the peaches then this drink is not for you. Peach Schnapps has to be had with a few ice cubes, chill and not at room temperature. It can be mixed with soda or other fruit juices too. The drink is gentle but strong as it contains 23% alchohol, very sweet, and it is a hit with many women too. I love it and I offer it to any of my friends who drop in to have a chat, and they too just love it.’ - review from anonymous

SOUTHERN COMFORT (700ml)

Wednesday, May 21st, 2008

VIP Members Price: .95*Southern’s identity as a bourbon lies only in its origins. Its inception was in an awful whisky batch that Heron was attempting to improve. Actually, Southern Comfort is a Peach Liqueur, and one of the few peach liqueurs on the market. Produced using neutral spirit and over 100 ingredients, the final liqueur matures for eight months prior to bottling. Sweet and rich with a mollasses background and faint medicinal flavour, it is today enjoyed as America’s “Take it easy Drink”. Southern is best drunk straight, on the rocks or with cola. Bottled in Australia. 37.1% alc/vol.

JOHNNIE WALKER BLACK LABEL (375ml)

Wednesday, May 21st, 2008

Johnnie Walker Black Label has an enigmatic character. The first sip leaves you with an overwhelming curiosity to discover more. As Black Label’s deep taste unfolds a myriad of flavours are revealed in several waves: first, there is an impression of silky richness; then deep and fruity foreground flavours give way to drier peaty nuances, followed by the complementary flavour tones of sweet vanilla and raisins. This unique complexity is achieved by expertly blending an extremely diverse, but complementary range of malt whiskies, each of which has been matured for a minimum of 12 years and some for much longer. In total, up to 40 malts and grain whiskies make up the Johnnie Walker Black Label blend. Island and Islay malts deliver spice, richness and lingering peat. Speyside malts make an important contribution to the depth of taste, bringing smoky malt, fruitiness, apple freshness and a rich sherry character to the blend. At the heart of Black Label lies 12 year old Cardhu, an outstanding malt from Speyside, which imparts silkiness, a characteristic which has made it famous as a single malt.
