South Australia5 Star rating An excellent everyday red. Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Aroma of spice and plum followed by vanilla and stewed fruit showing good varietal character. The palate has good weight, with flavours of plum, spice and stewed fruit emerging. Very good balance. Aftertaste of plum, stewed fruit and vanilla. This can even be cellared until 2008!

Riverland, SAIntense crimson purple colour. The nose displays the aromas of ripe spicy plums. The palate is generous, with excellent weight and mouthfeel, dominated by plums, blackberry and spice flavours. Fine grained tannins, with plum and stewed fruit aftertaste. A very good commercial quaffer, with more palate weight than one normally gets at this price.

(Great Southern, W.A)“Year in, year out this wine has been a consistent performer.r. Smoky savoury smells of dark plums, tobacco and cinnamon with a good measure of coffee beans and chocolate make a wonderful beginning. Lovely fleshy palate with a luxurious texture.” Ray Jordan’s Wine Guide 2006
